All this Time and No Blogging :(

Shame on me, I have been so completley hectic with this old house, the children and the knitting that i just have had no time - im also working on a shop of my own atm, which takes more time - knitting has been non stop since the beginning of this year, ill try to get some pics uploaded later today as the husband is off work for once yay!!

another pair of boosted bots

Heres another pair of boosted bots made with colinette jamboree and finished with cute bell ruffles as a customer request. Im currently working on a pair of colinette crops in bilberry, and have made a group of little snakes for the boys whilst i was waiting on the yarn to arrive for the crops, and now my camera appears not to want to work so i cant show anymore piccys :( I think its the usb cable so will get one asap to check.

Three Boosted Bots

Ive just designed an addition to the pattern, an inner layer of wool (double crotch area) so that there is extra protection for babies sitting for a long time or babies in slings just to give that little bit of extra confidence heres the first three pairs going off to a sweetie on monday :)

The "fair-isle" effect pair are Stamford Twilleys Freedom Spirit, which i really didnt love knitting with, the fibres split real easy and you have to watch your knitting rather than watch tv and knit like i usually do lol, however the finished result justifys the effort, i love the look of them, these are cargo style Boosted Bots. Next pair are Colinette Zebra aran, which i will be using again as i love colinette, and the last pair again are colinette popsicle double knit, which is so pretty:)

Heres a pair of skorts i have made, the wool is Licourice Twist and was dyed beautifully for me by Mrs Flipmode, they are just lovely :)

Boosted Bots

In response to customer feedback, i have developed a new soaker with a double layered crotch area to give added confidence to wearing wool, particularly for babies in slings, to give that bit of extra protection, heres the first pair, they look just the same as our usual shorties but have the extra layer inside, which can be added to any pair of longies or shorties, am pleased with the result!
